- X-Band Doppler Weather Radar for generating and displaying warnings for Thunderstorm, Hailstorm, dust storm, mesocyclone, convergence, divergence, and gust fronts
- Employs pulse-compression technique
- All-weather radar; can be mounted atop a tower or mobile platform
- Capable of detecting and estimating meteorological parameters
- User-selectable dual-polarization
- Capable of transmitting in Linear (Vertical and Horizontal) polarizations
- Radar range of observation >100 km with a range resolution of 75m
- Can generate polarimetric DWR base data and products in specific formats
- Can produce images as well as products from base data output
- Can be operated locally or from remote Command and Control Centre
- Can be operated on Commercial as well as DG-based power supply
